oward is a 1972 graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Social Sciences (MSASS).
He has dedicated the past 36 years counseling adults, families, and adolescents,
as well as specializing in chemical dependency issues.
His work has given him exposure in a broad range of mental health
issues:
- Working with adults and adolescents with quadriplegia in the development
and implementation of educational/vocational goals.
- Assisting in the development of behavioral management programs.
- Serving as consultant and part-time social worker at two nursing homes.
- Ten years experience at Augustine Society Group Home providing orientation
to adolescents new to the program while providing services to youths referred
by court and county agencies.
oward has participated in various prison programs, group milieu therapy, and
developed recovery programs for chemical dependency as well as the dual diagnosed.
He also has experience in counseling clients who are chronically mentally ill,
in a short term facility as well as long term facilities (nursing homes).
he modes of therapy with which he is most conversant are reality therapy,
Ret, cognitive therapy. He is an expert in counseling individuals, groups, and
families around dysfunction that has been related to addictions. Howard is passionate
and dedicated to health and well-being of his patients.
