ill DeFelice is a graduate of Ohio University. He has over 11 years of experience working with individuals and families with chemical dependency issues. He has been as a therapist for six years, half of them as a Chemical Dependency Clinical Supervisor.
he focus of Bill's practice is working with individuals adversely effected by chemical use. His participants are those who have suffered negative consequences as a result of their addiction. As a licensed mental health therapist, Bill has experience identifying and treating mental health disorders. Such disorders are common amongst this population and often have to be treated concurrently with the chemical use issues.
ill's chemical dependency treatment is holistic in nature and is based on the medical and 12 step models of treatment. This form of treatment not only addresses the chemical use, but the spiritual, physical, and emotional aspects of a clients' life as well. The clients are encouraged to work on any family or personal relationship issues and must develop a support network as part of their relapse prevention plan. A client leaving this program is educated in the effects of chemical use and has learned the skills necessary to prevent relapse.
e is SAP Certified, and is currently accepting clients from ODOT regulated organizations that are need of employee assessments, evaluations, and testing.
